Union Eleven

Big news today!  You may have noticed that updates and posts have been few and far between these last few months.  There's a good reason for that - I've been busy working on something rather exciting:

I'm happy to officially announce Union Eleven, a new photography venture. Union Eleven is the partnership between myself and Derrick Rice - Wedding Photographer Extraordinaire. Over the past year, Derrick and I have been laying the foundation for our business, with the goal of bringing a whole new experience and level of service to our clients.  The awesome Union Eleven studio space is now open to the public and everyone is encouraged to stop in and say hello! We're located at 619 Bank St. in the historic Glebe neighbourhood.

So with that, I'm happy (and a little sad) to say that this will be my final post. From now on highlights from my work, and other Union Eleven projects and news, will be posted to the Union Eleven Blog.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who helped make Andrew Geddes Photography a success, and the transition to Union Eleven possible. Derrick and I are really excited for what comes next!  I believe that the future holds great things for us, and our clients!

Where have I been!?

Well.... admittedly being a little lazy and not blogging. However, I've also been shooting interesting things, and working hard on a mighty exciting project that shall be revealed soon enough!

In the mean time, please enjoy some wedding photos from this past winter. I'll post a recap of some commercial work shortly.

Shannon and Drew - Toronto Wedding

Just before Christmas I went down to Toronto to shoot Shannon and Drew's intimate wedding at Hotel Le Germain. I believe there was a grand total of ten guests!

The hotel is super fancy, with plenty of interesting spots to shoot. Also, every hotel room has a massive floor to ceiling window that looks directly into the shower... go figure.

Janice and Matthew - Ottawa Wedding

Janice and Matthew's wedding was a pleasure to photograph. It was a chilly day, but the weather didn't slow them down one bit (notice Janice s awesome coat). We spent a couple hours travelling around Ottawa and hitting up a number of great locations. We even shot around their old highschool, where they first met.

A special thanks goes out to Stacey and the team at Marry Me Productions for putting on another fantastic event, and to Briget of First Kiss Films for being a pleasure to work with!

Commercial Shoot - CHEO Dream House

I did an interesting shoot the other day for Benjamin Moore. They provided all of the paint for the CHEO Dream of a lifetime dream home, and wanted some images to showcase the house. If you haven't heard about the CHEO dream of a lifetime lottery, you can learn about it here.
